Our Mission

The mission of Blessed Trinity School is to foster Christian leadership by witnessing the Gospel message and embracing the stewardship way of life. We strive for moral and academic excellence as we reach out to the community as Christ's disciples.

STANDARDIZED TESTING

Students in grades 3-8 take the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills (ITBS) in the fall semester.  The results of the ITBS are used by teachers to help identify strengths and limitations in individual student performance. Results of these tests also serve as a benchmark for concepts that need to be reinforced or explained more fully.

This standardized test assesses student performance in the following areas:

Vocabulary

Comprehension

Language

Spelling

Capitalization

Punctuation

Usage and Expression

Mathematics

Concepts and Estimation

Computation

Problem Solving & Data Interpretation
