Promethean ActivBoards enable anything that can be seen or done on a computer screen to be projected onto an interactive whiteboard - bringing every classroom to life.
Robert Marzano's Research on Promethean ActivBoards
A highly respected educational research expert, Dr. Robert Marzano, is in the midst of a multi-year study to determine the effectiveness of the Promethean ActivClassroom as a tool to help improve student achievement. The study, "Evaluation Study of the Effects Promethean AtivClassroom on Student Achievement" found that utilization of the Promethean ActivClassroom lead to immediate and sustainable improvement is student achievement, and is an effective tool for helping to reduce the achievement gap. Students taught with the Promethean ActivClassroom achieved 17 percentile points higher on average, than students taught by the same teacher, teaching the same content, using traditional methods.
