This year, Blessed Trinity Students will be asked to complete a variety of math activities prior to returning to school in August. These exercises integrate math skills into real world examples and are designed to help sharpen our students' math skills in preparation for next school year.

They also reinforce the idea that we never take a vacation from learning. All Blessed Trinity

School students are required to complete summer math assignments.

Please follow the directions that correspond to the grade you will be entering in August 2010.

 

Mark Smythe in Concert

Mark Smythe will be performing songs from his new CD, More Precious to Me Than My Own with an eight-piece band.

"Run for Uganda"

Blessed Trinity School is honored to have a sister school, "Blessed Trinity School - Nalewyo", which is located in Nalweyo, Uganda. Blessed Trinity Nalmeyo currently serves a population of 230 students from preschool to elementary school. Many students walk a great distance to attend school each day.

In January, members of the Blessed Trinity School Community (Ocala, FL) will participate in the Disney Marathon to raise money for our sister school, "Blessed Trinity-Nalweyo, Uganda" Annual tuition for students at Blessed Trinity - Nalweyo is $150 (includes lunch).

Blessed Trinity School, along with other educational institutions is preparing for the impending flu season. Please click on the Parents tab for letter that outlines Blessed Trinity's policies and procedures for preventing disease transmission and protecting students and staff from flu infection.

Box Top Update

WOW!!!! We collected over $1,400.00 in Box Tops during the Bolt collection. Thank you so much to all the students, teachers, and parents who collected. Please continue to clip over the summer. We are asking each student to bring in 30 Box Tops at the beginning of next school year. We will be sending out a summer collection sheet for students in grades K-2. All other students need to collect Box Tops in baggies or envelopes. Any student who brings in 30 Box Tops will earn a jeans day; the sheets will be due by the end of the 2nd week of school. Our top ten collectors overall will win a free ice cream coupon!!! Please put your name on what you bring in.

Monday - Thursday mornings

 

Blessed Trinity Summer School will be available for students wanting extra help in reading and math this summer. Summer school will run Monday - Thursday mornings. Each class will be hour and 45 minutes long, will be taught by one of our own certified teachers, and will be limited to 4-6 students per class. The cost will be $250 for the five weeks. Registration cost is $100 with the remaining $150 due the first week of summer school. Scholarships are available if needed. Any questions, contact Mrs. Smith at ext. 301.

 

**There will not be a Title 1 Summer School this year. **
