Parent - Teachers Organization

BTS has a strong and functional PTO. The specific objectives of the organization are: to provide more effective communication between the school and home, in order to promote continuity of the child's education; to offer well planned programs of particular interest to parents and students; to cooperate fully with the school administration in encouraging the moral. physical, mental and social growth of the child.

All parents/guardians of BTS students are members of the PTO.  General Meetings are held twice a year and announcements are sent home regarding time, place and agenda. Anyone wishing to serve on the Board of Directors should contact the current president.

The PTO is the organizing committee of the Parish Fall Carnival, proceeds of which go to the educational programs at BTS. All are encouraged to support this affair as a community builder and as a sizeable financial item in the school budget.
