8th Grade Service Hours

  • TEN total hours of service are required for Graduation. These service hours can take place at any of the mentioned Blessed Trinity ministries, or a non-BT related non-profit organization. Questions regarding if an organization can count can be directed to Mrs. Losito mlosito@btschool.org

  • NINE total hours of service are required for Confirmation, as follows:

    • at least 3 hours should be completed at the Brother’s Keeper Thrift Store

      • ** In order to volunteer at the thrift store, please email Pam Bourg at office@bkocala.org with the date you wish to volunteer. They will be able to accommodate up to three student volunteers daily Monday - Saturday from 9am to 12pm. **

    • at least 3 hours should be completed at the Brother’s Keeper Soup Kitchen

    • at least 3 hours should be completed serving one of the many different ministry related events or organizations here at Blessed Trinity. Some events are seasonal, and some are ongoing. Below are some but not all examples that students may use to fulfill these 3 hours:

      • Poinsettia Sales (Covenant Mission Team – Veronica Brescia)

      • Usher

      • Altar Serving

      • Lily Sales (Covenant Mission Team – Veronica Brescia)

      • LifeTeen Bake Sales – Matthew Miller

      • Sunday Morning Religious Education (Religious Education – Ana Venagas)

      • Breakfast with St. Nicholas – Matthew Miller

      • Any of the multitude of wonderful Spanish ministry related events

      • Parking Lot Island Ministry

      • Elder Care *It is highly advised that students be accompanied by an adult*
